Having issues with accessing the internet using wireless on laptop
As of yesterday, thanks to Microsoft's auto-wizard stuff that pops up to do stuff for you. When I was configuring my router (firmware update so all of the router settings reset...) my laptop got the blue screen of death thanks to the auto-wizard from Microsoft.
After spending 4 hours on the phone with someone from Microsoft earlier today, the guy decided that Microsoft has never before seen this before!
I shall be on the phone to Microsoft's research and engineering department tomorrow speaking to one of the windows 7 programmers :') Hopefully they can fix this.. I can't exactly use an Ethernet cable 24/7
So, to conclude I have earned the achievement below and I don't know how often I will be checking the clan website until it's fixed...

I mean that the original BSOD has damaged something in my PC (not sure if hardware / software...) drivers don't seem to be the problem however...
Using the image at the bottom of this post as an example:
If I were to double click to connect to the network "Narnia" (or any other...) using my laptop's wireless card, I get the BSOD instantly.

Re: Having issues with accessing the internet using wireless on laptop
The guy from Microsoft's research and development team fixed this earlier for me. Turns out after the first BSOD, some of the windows files required for wireless connection were very slightly corrupted (not enough for "sfc /scannow" to detect them.) This caused fatal mismatch errors with the wireless drivers. Both needed fixing at the same time for the fix to work strangely enough...
