This game is an MMORPG with a modern day setting. It's about myths, urban legends, conspiracies that are known to us.
This game is a really nice, interesting game, I've pre-ordered this myself before release, played the Beta, loved it, played it for a long time afterwards too. Thought it was worth the mention for sure as it's a fun and interesting game. I don't know if you can try out a demo, but I can tell you that it's no monthly pay. You can get yourself premium membership, but I don't know if you have to pay for actual new content or not. I know you get some content with free patches from time to time, but not sure if it's much or just side missions.

If you buy it and are into MMORPG's, I'd advice you to instantly get the MASSIVE PACK. This way you'll have ALL the upgrades (so far) together with the game. It's subscription free, but it's worth it imo. <3

Writing some money to my paypal right now to upgrade my game to the massive edition or something, so I got all the upgrading packs that have been released until now

So...
I've stumbled upon a big negative point with TSW, which is quite sad imo, as I'm sure there's more people like me with this problem.

I wrote money to paypal, so I could upgrade my game with áll the issue packs they've released so far so I'd have way more content. Once I got it all done, I wanted to buy it, but when I want to pay they ask you to attach a credit card to your Paypal account and there's NO way you can bypass this... Big negative point for me honestly, as it costs quite a lot for a credit card per month (I asked for the options, for a decent card I'd be paying a little more than 4eu per month, which is UP TO 60 A YEAR!!) and thus I don't have one.

Nonetheless, I had figured out there's a 'trial' going on for a credit card for 'young people' (quoting my bank) and it's a year free, after that I've got to pay for it. No warning though, they'll just start taking money off every month until you stop using it. Now, I'm not going to lie, it's not a lot of money per month, I receive enough to pay for it, but if you look at it that's quite a lot and so far I know that I'll only use this card for Paypal and PSN...

I currently requested one, which'll arrive end this week. I'm gonna buy the TSW upgrade packs and then I'll see if I can write a review about the game (after getting into it again for a bit).
Anywhore, for the people who don't have it yet, I'd advice to get the game via steam if you don't mind having no physical copy. Via steam you can just buy the upgrade packs without this bullshit.. Sadly enough I couldn't -_-
So.. Yeah! Hope to have the updates soon, downloaded and installed, ready to play. Review (might be) incoming!

Sadly enough yes. It's true man.
My parents both have on since a long time (talking about +10 years) and my mom didn't even know she had to pay for it monthly as at first it wasn't like this. Now it is. And the saddest part is that you pay e.g. 1,xx per month for a credit card without any insurance. 4,xx per month wíth insurance. I took one now with insurance as it's free for the first year for younger people... This way I can go forth a little, though I already wrote down on the end of this year's calender that I'm takin the card back to the bank saying 'nah I don't use it much'. At least I don't have to pay then, which is cool. Unless if I use it a lot.. Then I might keep it, but so far, that won't happen

I was really excited about this game before it came out as I followed the whole thing.. It was going for years already, them giving clues that were so vague and shit before they even announced the game! When it got announced, I was singing...


It was going to be a subscription-based game, but eventually they dropped it and changed it to pay for content packs, which works out way better in my opinion... Thus the reason why I'm going to upgrade my game soon!

Once the beta was out, I freaked the fuck out of it. Pre-orders had the option of playing the first month for free, after that it would've been subscription, but I'm really glad they dropped it!
Can't wait to have a job again, get 2x 780 lightning edition 3gb cards and upgrade my power supply so I can play this game with the decent settings it deserves on 3 monitors!

Would you mind giving it a chance..?
If you like MMORPG's, this is definitely one to look into as it's not just 'repetition' but this gives a diversity on quests, showing you a lot of myths and legends, where you have to google around the net and find actual clues throughout the googlez to find the solution upon the quest you're doing! I'd play with you via teamspeak!

i might give it a try but not before next week cuz i have an assignment to finish then i can play without the deadline distracting me
