I found out yesterday about the new bind...well new to me...because it seriously ruining the game experience...also came from so-called "pro-mod" players, or should I say "pro-hack" players...

type /+holdbreath in your console or add it in your cfg

You will allways be holding your breath automatically while sniping because the game waits for a -holdbreath that is not going to come.

Now I tried that and it is working perfectly...one less button to press and since it is automatically,AND it can be done really fast...this is how some players manage to rush with snipers...add no recoil to this one and it is a really good way of getting lots of kills, and at the same time pose yourself as pro player...AND, if you use quickscope with this, you are on your way to good K/D ratio..

I found out that thing in player named Jamesons...this guy was banned before, appealed for unban, got unbanned and then the same thing happened yesterday...I did not ban him, but just warned him about this, and let him finish the rounds...

so just to conclude this topic...these binds are seriously getting on my nerves as they are completely ruining the game experience...not to mention the annoyment from other not-so-experienced players...

So I am going to ban from rock1 server anyone who is using these "Freaky" binds, because they are getting other players in a really disadvantage position...anyone wants to use these binds, you can use them on some other servers...on rock1 server it is BANNABLE!!!

I am not going to ban players using fakeswitch because I saw that these players got really used to this bind and without it they have serious problems with gameplay...

I can understand your point, but i wont comment any further as my opinion ont his theme goes in a different direction .

Just to explain this so there is no missunderstanding....I am not going to discuss about using these binds on promod servers, because I am not playing there and I heard from other promod players that everyone is using these kind of binds in promod servers...

But rock1 is NOT promod server....it is public server with lots of players who are not using any binds at all...the objective is to populate our servers with lots of players with different gameplay...new and old....letting someone using these binds on this server will definitely divert other players from our server to another servers where these kind of things are not allowed...and it would be unfair toward the players using no recoil on non-sniper rifles, because it is the same thing....your aim is not moving, thus allowing you more precision shots...

I understand your saying Heily "your opinion going in a different direction", but this topic was made soley towards making rock1 server more affordable and playable towards majority of players...and ONLY for that purpose...

Look I dont like this bad idea you have about promod players....loo this is a bind i didnt know i just learnt it but look in every promod server the scope remains ialways in hold breath state all the time that you aim down the sights its something that exists since promod was made and if it exists for eveyrone using the scope is no problem as thats the rules thats the gameplay thats why promod is different than pub but in pub because not every1 using scope can have it there its a hack in promdo servers you dont type anything its just a part of the mod and i dont think it a big deal as there are people rushing and it doesnt make you better as for jameson i thikn i know him i dont have anything else to add

how are those binds a disadvantage ? like U better ban me then because i probly have 20000 binds with all kind of keys. its not like they make me aimbot or something.

@ first i think that this topic better fit in the members-only section, cause after couple of hourse this "forbidden" bind is part of the config from the forum visitors

Binds, yes it gives the user advantage... thats why "we" are using those binds.. at least i do ^^

But, to be onest i think its difficult to say... this bind is allowed.. this one is not... and so on...

Also for our guests, the public @CR1 for example, its gonna be not easy to follow whats allowed and what is not.
If we do want a easy to understanding public server we better say... binds are allowed (or better not even mention those binds... some dont even know whats nadeswitching... terms as binds we have to explain them cause we are (i assume then) mention them by console).

Lets take it easy and practical... binds allowed (but not mentioned), hacks/cheats forbidden (mentioned).

/+holdbreath isnt not a hacking thing!! just wanted to say that, i think i have the bind in my cfg too becuz it annoys me, when i always have to hold my breath while im sniping...

actually i dont play public that much anymore..

THIS BIND IS NOTHING SPECIAL and i think it doesnt deserve a ban, becuz its no hack!

sure its a helpful bind, but sasha, the bind only helps u when ur are hardscoping, quickscoping and noscoping havent got anything in common with the bind, so pls dont say: the bind increases ur quickscope skill...

for long distances its helpful yh, but otherwise not!


and when u zoom in the crosshair isnt at the right postion, you have to wait until its at the right position....so...


i think a bind like this shouldnt be a reason to get banned, and how do u want to know, who is using this bind and who not?

last thing: sasha no recoil and +holdbreath isnt the same!! its a diffrent thing.

i've got the bind, too! since 2005 in cod2! this is a legal bind. in every league allowed and on pam-mod you have holdbreath without a bind.
with "no recoil" you must change your config massive, not 2 binds on one buttom!
love it or hate it.... but don't ban some1 for this bind!

this is ur choice i respect it but the only thing i still dont get why its not fair for other people without the bind i mean i would probly drop bombs without the bind against people with it.

Im not using the bind and I dont think it would help me...

im like almost all the time pressing shift.. either for running or for breath holding so dont think it would make a diff for mee ;D

512 can ban people for it if he wants..
